Vampire Knight Manga Anime Series

Vampire Knight Manga Anime Series
The art is attractive, but something seems slightly off about the facial proportions for the characters. Everyone has too much space between their nose and upper lip. The storyline skips around a little bit. At some points I was a little confused about what was going on because the characters changed locations so much without very much transition.

Vampire Knight (Vanpaia Naito?) is a shōjo manga and anime series written by Matsuri Hino. The series premiered in the January 2005 issue of LaLa magazine and is still on-going. Chapters are collected and published in collected volumes by Hakusensha, with nine volumes currently released in Japan. The manga series is licensed in English by Viz Media. The English adaptation premiered in the July 2006 issue of Viz's Shojo Beat magazine, with the collected volumes being published on a quarterly basis.

Two drama CDs were created for the series, as well as a twenty-six episode anime adaptation. Produced by Studio Deen, the anime series' first season aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between April 8, 2008 and July 1, 2008. The second season, titled Vampire Knight Guilty aired on the same station from October 7, 2008 and December 30, 2008. The anime uses many of the same voice actors as were used for the drama CDs.

The first chapter of Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight premiered in the January 2005 issue of LaLa, where the series is still running. The individual chapters are being collected and published in tankōbon volumes by Hakusensha, with eight volumes released in Japan as of October 2008. The series is licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media. In addition to publishing the individual volumes, the series is being serialized in Viz's Shojo Beat manga anthology. The first chapter was published in July 2006 and it is still on-going. Trinity Blood popular Manga and Anime Series

Trinity Blood popular Manga and Anime Series
Trinity Blood (Toriniti Buraddo?) is a series of Japanese light novels written by Sunao Yoshida with illustrations by Thores Shibamoto and originally serialized in The Sneaker. Set 900 years after an apocalyptic war between humans and vampires, the series focuses on the on-going cold war between the Vatican and the Empire. Fighting on the Vatican's side is Abel Nightroad, a Crusnik which feeds on vampires. A blend of sci-fi, fantasy, and political intrigue, as some in the Vatican and the Empire strive for peace, other factions will do anything to stop it.

Trinity Blood has been adapted into both manga and anime series, with continuity differences between the three versions. After Yoshida's untimely death on July 15, 2004, Kentaro Yasui, his friend and the author of Ragnarok novels, stepped in to complete the remaining novels. Yasui also aided in completing the manga, with illustrations by Kiyo Kujō. The anime series, spanning 24 episodes, was produced by Gonzo and originally aired on WOWOW network.

The humans once attempted to colonize Mars after a massive population explosion. While on Mars, they discovered the Bacillus and Crusnik nanomachines. When the Bacillus nanomachines were embedded in humans, they were infected with a virus that changed them into vampires who had to feed on blood to survive. While this was happening on Mars, on Earth, continuing wars resulted in Armageddon, the apocalyptic war that nearly destroyed humanity. The vampires—who now call themselves Methuselahs—and the humans ended up in a war against each other when the Methuselah returned to Earth. 900 years later the surviving humans are still trying to recover from the war's devastating effects while trying to find ways to co-exist with the Methuselah despite the distrust and hatred still evident on both sides. The Vatican serves as the primary leader for the people in the on-going struggle for peace with the Methuselah, and in dealing with rogue factions from both sides that would like the war to continue. The Methuselah refer to humans as "Terrans", the Short-Lived Race.

Gunslinger Girl Popular Anime Series
Gunslinger Girl ( Gansuringā Gāru?) is an ongoing manga by Yu Aida. It first premiered in the November 2002 issue of the monthly shōnen magazine Dengeki Daioh. The chapters are also being published in collected volumes by MediaWorks. Nine volumes have been released in Japan as of April 2008. The manga series is licensed for an English language release in North America by ADV Manga. A thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by Madhouse aired in Japan on Animax and Fuji Television from October 8, 2003, to February 19, 2004. A sequel created by Artland premiered in Japan on Tokyo MX TV on January 7, 2008. Titled Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino-, this sequel spanned thirteen episodes, concluding on March 31, 2008. Two additional episodes were released on DVD in Japan on October 24, 2008.

The core characters of Gunslinger Girl are the fratelli. To date, all of the fratelli shown consist of male handlers (usually in their mid 20s to 40s) with female cyborgs (usually in their early to mid teens). The relationship between a handler and a cyborg can be a complex one, and each fratello exhibits a unique dynamic. Most of the handlers have police or military backgrounds and were recruited directly into Section 2. Most handlers also chose their own cyborgs, though there is evidence that some had specific cyborgs assigned to them. Supporting the fratelli is the rest of Special Operations, Section 2. This includes the medical staff who both created the cyborgs and maintain them, other human operatives, and administrative and support staff. Arrayed against the fratelli are the members of the Five Republics Faction, also known as the Padania Republic Faction or PRF. The faction and its backers seek an independent northern Italy through acts of terrorism and bribery. They operate throughout Italy, though they are strongest in the northern regions.
